We find inspiration for this on the North Sea and Baltic Sea coasts of Germany, our source for fashion with joy, good mood colours, meaningful sayings, casual cuts and premium quality. We capture this unique "sea" attitude to life in every collection, giving you a touch of sunny beach atmosphere on dull days.
The "fascination with the sea" runs in the family at Adenauer & Co.: even as a young boy, our founder Andreas Adenauer, affectionately known as "Captain" by our team, spent his holidays on the coast of Sweden, his mother's homeland. Thus, the grandson of former German Chancellor Konrad Adenauer was born with a deep attachment to the sea, the beach and the waves. From this passion for long summer days in the sand and the scent of fresh seawater, he launched our clothing brand Adenauer & Co. in 2011. Today, this maritime attitude to life is a central theme in every A & Co. collection. We produce over 90 percent* of our clothing such as hoodies, T-shirts, sweats, jeans and blouses within Europe. Germany is our home, that's why we love Europe. For Andreas, the motto is: "Live in Europe - buy from Europe". Not a sailor's yarn, but a firm principle!
We now operate over 45 beach houses in Germany, Austria and Spain. By the way, that's what we call our beloved shop houses. Adenauer & Co beach houses and city beach houses in the city centres are a lovingly furnished shopping experience: filled with details such as lifebuoys, sailor's ropes, messages in bottles, beach lights and anchors - all decorated by our captain himself with attention to detail. There's even a surfboard hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the room! Just convince yourself; our team is looking forward to your visit. With our Adenauer & Co. clothes, we aim to make people happy. Just like we are when we stand by the sea and the wind blows that incomparable breath of freedom through our hair.
