Payment Conditions

For Paying at Adenauer&Co. you have to following options:

- Klarna Invoice 
- Klarna instalment purchase
- Klarna direct debit

For your paying we offer you most modern and safest technologies! Any online-payment is processed by leading German payment companies, of which we know they use newest safetytechnologies and guarantee the highest safety for your payment. No credit card or bank account data are saved on our servers. The payment proceeds on save payment servers which meet all requirements of credit card companies including the PCI-certification.

Adenauer&Co. does not charge further fees for payment, either you choose Invoice, Account, credit card, paypal, giro pay or payment in advance. All you pay is the value of your purchase and eventually shipping costs if your order is less than 50,- EUR. Shipping price information can be found here.


Invoice and Account Payment with Klarna: 

In Collaboration with Klarna Bank AB (publ), Sveavägen 46, 111 34 Stockholm, Sweden, we offer the following payment options. Each of these payments go to Klarna:

  • Invoice: The payment term is 14 days from shipping on. You find all terms for Klarna invoice payments for your country here:  Germany , Finland , Great Britain , Netherlands , Norway , Austria , Sweden.
  • Account: By the service of Klarna Account payment you can pay your order in planned or flexible monthly rate according to the conditions of payment at checkout. Your monthly rate is due at the end of the month after receipt of the monthly Klarna bill.   • Direct Debit: The debit order follows directly after your order has been shipped. Your will be informed via email.

The use of the payment methods invoice, instalment purchase and direct debit require positive credit check. Hence we send your data in the process of purchase to Klarna, to check your adress and credit. Please have understanding, that we can offer you only the payment methods, of which you are approved for in accordance to your credit check. Payment with credit card:

We work with MasterCArd, VISA and American Express.

The process of payment takes place via your credit card. At the moment of order placement we pre-book the amount on your credit card (authorisation). The actual debit follows when your order has left our warehouse.

In case of a return we will transfer the amount back on your credit card account as soon as your return has been processed and verified.

Additional security when paying by credit card

Verified by VISA und MasterCard Secure enable a especially safe process of credit card payment in the internet by using special encryption methods.

If you are registered for Verified by VISA or MasterCard Secure you are automatically redirected to your credit card bank's site and are personally addressed by your name. On their site you will be asked to confirm the payment with your personal PIN code.

If you are not registered for this method you will be directed to your bank's site as well. Only one login is required for all future orders. On your bank's site you will be asked to verify yourself with your personal secure questions. Afterwards you can decide on your personal PIN and an individual welcome message, which is going to pop up at future orders. The rest of the proceure is the same as for registered customers.

Payment with Paypal:

PayPal is an online payment service, which allows you to pay save, easy and fast at online shops - for free. Registration can be made at www.paypal.de .


Payment with Giropay:

If you choose Giropay as your payment method, you will be directed to the online banking of your personal bank after entering your BIC. You login with your online banking data as usual and the system shows you the transaction with all shopping details: payment amount, purpose and the banking data of Adenauer&Co. By entering the TAN you authorise the payment transaction. 

As the last step of your Giropay payment you receive a confirmation of the successful transaction, which you can print out. Adenauer&Co. receives a payment guarantee from your bank at the same moment and can directly dispatch your order. All requirement is an online banking account at a participating banking institute.

Please note, that not all banks participate. Besides the Deutsche Postbank, nearly all Sparkassen and Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken and many PSD-banks, the GLS-Gemeinschaftsbank and further private banks offer giropay: the Deutsche Kreditbank (DKB), MLP-Bank, Cronbank, the Merkur Bank, the Bankhaus Ellwanger & Geiger, the Bank Schilling & Co, the Bankhaus Bauer and the cvw Privatbank AG. Payment in advance:

After completing your order you receive a confirmation mail with our banking data. Your order is stored in our system and your articles will be prepared for shipping at this point. On the day of payment receipt on our account we will ship your package.


Instant Bank Transfer with Sofortüberweisung:

SOFORT Überweisung — It couldn't be more convenient. When shopping online, simply pay as you are used to. With your online banking data and with maximum security via PIN and TAN. Thanks to a real-time transaction confirmation to the shop, your ordered items can be shipped immediately. Sofortüberweisung is a "tested payment system from TÜV Saarland" and "tested data protection from TÜV Saarland".


Return Credit:

On the day your return is received, the items will be checked by us and a credit will be issued. You will receive a confirmation mail from us. At the same time, the credit amount is automatically transferred to you. This happens in the same way as you paid to us, i.e.. via your credit card, PayPal or bank transfer. If you pay by invoice, you can deduct your credit note directly from the invoice received and only transfer the difference.
